Dear Humans,
I hope this letter finds you in a good place, hopefully dry and warm.
Here's a little update about things I'm going to enjoy doing during the upcoming month of February. Did you know that February is named after the Roman purification ritual "Februa", held on February 15th, the night of the full moon? No? Well, now you do...

PENDULUM TRIO is back for a few gigs this coming weekend. Matthias is back visiting from NYC, super happy to play with these cats again!

BEAM - Is a new project that I co-lead with a wonderful guitarist from Amsterdam, Eran Har Even. We are playing 3 shows in Brussels & Herent this month. I even made a nice e-poster for the tour for your viewing pleasure :)

SINISTER SISTER - Is a band that plays the music of Frank Zappa and features the talents of the great Michel Hatzigeogiou, Wunderkind Lader Gyselinck, Jan "The Phantom" Gesquiere, Pieter "not Santa" Claus and yours truly. After a wonderful experience doing the JazzLab Series tour in December we have one gig in February.

Led by saxophonist Maayan Smith and featuring Eran Har Even (NL) on guitar, BEAM proposes an energetic yet strongly lyrical brand of Jazz. Featuring original compositions from Smith and Har Even ranging from lyrical multi-part suites to straight ahead swinging modern Jazz, the group is completed by the rock-solid rhythm section of Niels Engel (LU) on drums and Boris Schmidt on bass.
