Nous vous attendons pour le prochain repas chabbatique communautaire du vendredi 20 octobre 2017, après l'office de kabbalat chabbat. Nous accueillerons la délégation de Debate For Peace, qui reviendra d'une présentation à l'Union Européenne.
Sous la houlette de Steven Aiello, un groupe d'étudiants juifs et arabes issus de tout Israël, participent à des conférences "Model United Nations", où ils débatent, négocient et tentent de résoudre les défis les plus pressants et les plus urgents des relations internationales.

Deabte For Peace, Who We Are?

* Steven Aiello holds a BA in economics (NYU) and an MA in diplomacy (IDC), and currently studies Islam at Tel Aviv University. He has been involved in Jewish-Arab MUN work in Israel since 2011. Steven is Jewish, Israeli and Italian-American.
* Nooralhuda Hoji studies physics at Tel Aviv University. She has been involved in interfaith MUN programming since she was 14, winning awards at the first MUN conferences held in Petah Tiqva and at the IDC Herzliya, competing with college students. Originally from Qalansawa, Nooralhuda is a Palestinian Israeli Muslim.

The Debate for Peace program operates in close partnership with the Interfaith Encounters Association, the Jerusalem Peacebuilders, and the US Embassy in Israel.
October 19: Debate for Peace will present our MUN conflict resolution and dialogue model at the European Parliament at an event organized by EPMED.
